Terms of service

Short and in plain English, because you have bids to send. If anything here is unclear, email hello@portravo.com and a person will answer.
1. What Portravo does
Portravo turns plan PDFs you upload into a quantity takeoff and a priced estimate. Extracted quantities are suggestions until you confirm them. Prices are real observations recorded with a source, location, and date, or clearly labeled regional index values.
2. Your account
Keep your login credentials to yourself and give us accurate account information. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person; your crew can see exported estimates without accounts of their own.
3. Your plans stay private
Files you upload are used for one thing: producing your estimate. We do not share them, sell them, publish them, or use them to market to anyone. Deleting a project deletes its files.
4. AI processing
Takeoff extraction runs through a third-party AI provider under confidentiality terms. Your documents are not used to train their models or ours.
5. Estimates are your call
Shelves change and takeoffs need review, which is why the product makes you confirm every line. The final bid you send is your responsibility. Portravo is not liable for the outcome of a bid, a job, or a purchase decision made from an estimate.
6. Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card number. Pay-as-you-go estimate credits do not expire. Crew and Foreman plans renew monthly and can be canceled anytime from Billing, with access through the end of the paid period. Prices for future purchases can change; we will not reprice what you already bought.
7. Acceptable use
Do not upload files you have no right to use, resell or scrape our price data, probe or break the service, or use it for anything illegal. We can suspend accounts that do.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you want. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund of unused pay-as-you-go credits if the violation was not the reason.
9. Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
11. Changes and contact
If we make a material change to these terms we will email you before it takes effect. Questions go to hello@portravo.com. Our privacy practices live in the privacy policy.
