This revision is published prospectively for new accounts and new order agreements beginning October 29, 2026. Earlier privacy commitments, purchase rights and nonwaivable rights remain applicable unless validly updated. This publication does not reduce obligations already owed or record acceptance of new contract terms.
The short version: your plans are yours, we use your data to provide and support Portravo, and we do not sell contact information. Details below. Questions to hello@portravo.com.
Your account details (name, email, company, trade, metro), the plan and quote files you upload, the estimates and rate cards you build, and basic usage data so we can see what is broken. Optional Google Analytics and PostHog run only after you accept. Google Analytics measures selected public visits and navigation links. PostHog measures visits and steps such as signup, onboarding, project creation, plan attachment and takeoff completion using a random browser identifier, without linking it to your account. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days. We send fixed route names in place of private project or visit IDs and exclude query strings, fragments, form values, document contents, filenames and account details. We do not enable automatic interaction tracking, session recording, or advertising personalization. Use Analytics choices on public and application pages to decline or withdraw; withdrawal stops collection and removes analytics identifiers. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track override acceptance. Billing runs through Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We also keep a record of the terms revision and privacy acknowledgment you submit, the time and signup or order method, and your eligibility, business-authority, and upload-permission confirmations. We preserve the initial declaration separately from later agreement confirmed after email ownership verification, with the account or order, email, document hashes, time and confirmation method.
Producing your estimates and quote audits, running and improving the service, transactional email (receipts, audit results, estimate notifications), support, documenting your agreement, enforcing our terms, and responding to legal obligations. A privacy acknowledgment records notice and does not itself provide optional marketing or analytics consent.
We do not sell or resell your contact information. We do not run ads. We do not use your plans or estimates as marketing material, and we do not share them with other customers.
AI service providers process your documents to produce your takeoff. We do not use your documents to train our own models. Provider terms and configured settings govern their handling. Applicable commitments under earlier policies and your legal rights remain unchanged.
We use a short list of processors to run the product: Stripe for billing, Cloudflare for hosting and file storage, Google Analytics for public-site measurement, PostHog for optional product analytics, an AI provider for plan extraction, and an email provider for transactional messages. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.
When the in-app project deletion succeeds, the project record is removed from your account. The app attempts to delete uploaded plan files, but storage cleanup can fail, and related processing files may remain. For help with cleanup or to request deletion of your account or personal information, email hello@portravo.com. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law. This update does not change any commitments owed under an earlier policy or any applicable legal rights. Records and backup copies may be retained where required or permitted by law, subject to those commitments and rights.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is limited to the people who operate the service. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, and we honor the same requests from everyone else. Email us and we will handle it; no forms, no runaround.
When you connect an assistant such as ChatGPT, you sign in to Portravo and approve account permissions. The assistant can receive the account details, project metadata, takeoff lines and estimate downloads permitted by that connection. PDF files you select in the conversation are stored privately in your Portravo project. The assistant's own privacy terms apply to information in that conversation. Access tokens are stored as hashes and download links expire after five minutes. Disconnect the assistant or sign out of the linked Portravo session to stop access.
